Tis the Season for Crafts with your Kids..

It's that time of year folks! For some reason it seems easier to do crafts during the winter holidays than it is the rest of the year. Glitter, Glue, Paper, Felt or cardboard, you can ALWAYS make it work as a Holiday decoration. My new fave is these little snowmen! Simple and easy and great for little hands that are learning coordination! Supplies Scissors Hole Punch String (Twine or Yarn) Glue White Felt Red, Blue, Green Felt Intructions Cut out snowman shapes with the white felt Cut out little hats from the colored felts Glue on the hat (Let them dry) Punch holes in the on each side of the middle area of the snowman lace the snowman through! That's it! Hang it and enjoy the cuteness!

It's a Sugar Shower!

So I have a friend who has got me into this stuff and now I'm addicted! Everything from delectable, beautiful soaps to body and linen spray to hair masks to face washes! Its a bathroom palooza! These products are made to order. There is absolutely no back stock and they are completely handmade. The scents are amazing! So real you'd want to eat it, but don't cause it doesn't taste all that great lol! The soaps are shaped into cookies or donuts, whatever the scent its in. Crock Pot Cooking! The best beef & broccoli EVER!

We love Asian dishes and for years I've tried to make beef & broccoli. Every time the beef ends up extremely tough and kind of dry. Then I thought, I wonder if you can make it in a crock pot. Low and behold I found numerous recipes but one stood out and I do not think I could have found Better so I've decided to share! 1 beef bouillon cube
1 cup warm water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 1/2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch strips

2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 pounds broccoli florets, or to taste
2 cups cooked jasmine rice
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Crumble beef bouillon cube into warm water in a bowl and stir to dissolve; add soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and sesame oil and stir to dissolve sugar.

Put beef strips into a slow cooker crock.

Pour sauce mixture over the beef.

Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours (or on High for 4 hours).

Spoon 2 tablespoons liquid from the slow cooker into a bowl.

Whisk cornstarch into the liquid and stir the cornstarch mixture into the liquid in the slow cooker until consistent in color.

Cook on High until the sauce thickens, about 30 minutes.

Place a steamer insert into a saucepan and fill with water to just below the bottom of the steamer.

Bring water to a boil.

Cook broccoli in covered steamer until tender, 2 to 6 minutes; add to sauce in slow cooker and stir to coat.

Ladle broccoli beef over portions of cooked jasmine rice and garnish with sesame
